TAMPA, Florida – Summer is not yet over as it just started to heat up the competition for the gorgeous ladies of Miss Global Philippines 2017. The candidates along with the executives of Miss Global Philippines Foundation, headed by Ms. Rizza Lao-Laping, and PSL Entertainment Productions, under the leadership of Pauline Sofia Laping, invaded the enchanting island of Boracay in Aklan Province, Philippines.
La Carmela de Boracay, Boracay West Cove and Casa Pilar served as this year’s venue of the much-awaited Swimsuit and Talent Competition for this year’s search, plus other exciting pre-pageant activities along the way. The ladies spent several days doing fun activities on the beach and photo-shoots before preparing for the night event that is considered an important segment of the entire pre-pageant activity.
Last June 10, the swimsuit competition sizzled up the event, as ladies conquered the podium and battled up to sashay their toned physique and form donning the sexy swimwear designed by Domz Ramos of DR Swim. The night concluded with Mary Ann Mungcal nosing out the other ladies to be named Best in Swimsuit. Jacqueline Mayoralgo and Dianne Santiago joined her for a Top 3 finish.
The girls also had the opportunity to extend themselves through charity work by visiting Lamberto High School for a “Bag Giving Project” among the students.
The coronation night of Miss Global Philippines 2017 will be on June 26 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater of Resort World Manila in Pasay City, Philippines.
