For the second time around, the Philippines will host the fourth edition of the annual MISS GLOBAL 2016 beauty pageant. The announcement was made in a press conference held at St. Francis Shangri-La Place Tower 2 last August 15 to formally launch the hosting of the said pageant in the country.

Miss Global 2015 Jessica Peart flew in from Australia to grace the said event along with CJ Hirro (Miss Global Philippines 2016), Candice Ramos (Miss Global Philippines 2015), and Catherine Almirante (Miss Global Philippines 2014).
As confirmed by Pauline Laping (Chief Executive Officer and National Pageant Director of Miss Global Philippines Foundation Inc), this year will be a special one. The pageant’s swimsuit competition will be held in Hennan, Bohol and the delegates are expected to visit eco-tourism spots in the country.

This year’s pageant edition is expected to be more extravagant as the organizers locked in an official partnership and collaboration with the Department of Tourism, headed by Secretary Wanda Teo and the Fashion Designers Association of the Philippines, headed by Ms. Digna Rosales (FDAP).
