Miss Fil-Am Florida 2017 Candidates Unveiled

TAMPA, Florida – The official candidates of Miss Fil-Am Florida 2017 has been officially presented to selected members of the Filipino Community of Tampa, Florida, and were exclusively covered by Life N Style Central Online Magazine. Organized by the Filipino American Social Club, Inc. (FASCI), the event served as the kick-off launching of the three-month long pre-pageant activities that awaits the girls. The coronation finals is set on August 26, 2017 at Hilton Hotel in Downtown Tampa.

A sashing ceremony also took place wherein the candidates will be representing their local hometowns in the Philippines, and they were as follows:

April Weitzell – representing Pampanga, Philippines

Janelle Hall – representing Paranaque, Philippines

Jeanette Benevibs – representing Camarines Sur, Philippines

Joy Marie – representing Bataan, Philippines

Madeleine Knowles – representing Cagayan De Oro, Philippines

Maria Dahlins – representing Manila, Philippines

The Miss Fil-Am Florida pageant directly involves themselves in doing charity works to help the local communities in the Philippines. Proceeds from the pageant go towards our international charity partner Gawad Kalinga, a foundation that builds school and villages for the poorest of the poor.
