She will represent the country at the Miss Eco International 2018/2019 pageant on March 29 to be held in Cairo, Egypt.

Speaking to the invited press and bloggers, Montagne can’t contain her excitement for the pageant.

“I’m just super excited to compete in my first international competition. Being able to compete on an international stage really does mean so much to me.”

To boost her confidence, MWP 2018 queens share some special greetings to Montagne.

“So Maureen I know that you’ve been very excited for this. I know that you have the endurance to be the last queen in the Philippines competing for 2018 set of queens. I know that you’re a top competitor. You’ll give the girls run out of their money,” said Katarina Rodriguez.

As part of her preparation for the pageant, Maureen has been working to clean up the Philippines. She has been working with a lot of organization specifically the Manila Bay clean up.

“I will start working with Pasig River clean up after I come back from the pageant. I’m also doing medical missions but my main focus is to clean up the Philippines.”

Maureen is aiming for a back to back victory at the pageant which was won last year by our representative Cynthia Thomalla.
