ATLANTA, GA – Miss Universe candidates were up gorgeously bright and early on Thursday morning as they met members of the media from all over the world for a two-hour “press junket” at the Marquis Ballroom of Marriott Marquis Hotel in Downtown Atlanta.
The candidates were flooded with questions about their home country, their advocacy and causes, a lot more trivial stuff about their country and of themselves, and then posed for photo after photo.
Miss Panama Mehr Eliezer was astounded from the attention she was getting from the media. “This is one of the highlights of my Miss Universe experience because I get to share my thoughts to the people from the media“, Eliezer expressed.
Miss Philippines Gazini Ganados was one of the more popular interview requests, and the most sought-after candidate from the members of the press. “I truly appreciate the love and support that I get from the people who believes in me, regardless of their nationality or the language they speak, it’s overwhelming ‘coz they’re all here”, explained Ganados.
“So many family and friends will be here. They flew in from different states to Atlanta and there are a bunch people from my home country that just joined me in this press conference.”
