The recently concluded Search for Miss Silka 2019 is won by Jamiee Nicole Manio who captured the distinctive taste of the panel of judges during the coronation night from several regional pageants and category searches from 26 finalists all over the country. Jamiee as the big winner from the province of Pampanga, brought home her crown and a whooping cash prize of Php150,000.00 and a Php100,000.00 worth of donations from her chosen charity. She also won the special awards for Miss Swimwear category.
Other winners from the search are Angelica Corporal Miss Silka 1st Runner Up from Bulacan who received a cash prize of Php100,000.00. She also bagged 3 special awards; Ms. Talent 2019, Miss Photogenic & Best in Evening Gown. Miss Silka 2019 2nd Runner Up from the search is Ma. Izabel Lamberth of Bagiuo City who also received a cash prize of Php70,000.00 and won the Ms. Casual Wear 2019 category. And the Miss Silka 2019 3rd Runner Up is Krisha Andrea Pekitpekit who also brought home a cash prize of Php50,000.00.
Ms. Juicy Cologne 2019 coveted Kathlyn Camille Lee from Davao and among the 26 beautiful ladies who won the special awards for Ms. Congeniality 2019 and Ms. Popular Choice Award 2019 were Jewel Alexandria Palacat from Ilocandia and Angelica Milvie Bucu of Leyte respectively. A consolation prize of Php6,000.00 were given to the 22 other contestants and all were given a Silka products gift packs.
The search for Miss Silka Philippines is now on its 12th year and is one of the most awaited pageants in the country. It serves as an avenue to celebrate diversity among Filipina women by providing regional and cultural representation nationally.
Beyond beauty and glamour, the Miss Silka Philippines pageant aims to serve as an inspiration among all Filipinas to value self-care or more known in Filipino as “alaga”.
Singer, actress and Host Yanah Laurel and DJ Sean Kyle hosted the grand coronation day. Multi-awarded versatile actress and television personality Angelica Panganiban, the new face of Silka Green Papaya Soap; and R&B crooner Jason Dy also graced the grand occasion.
