My Ride Expo 2020 Press Conference

Dubbed as the first annual International modified cars and bikes exhibition in the region, MY RIDE Expo Manila 2020, will be launched at the SMX Convention Center, MOA, Pasay City from 23rd – 25th of January 2020. A Press conference was held on January 8th at Black Olive Restaurant and Event Hall in Capitol Commons, which was attended by media personalities from TV, radio, print and social media bloggers. The panelists consisted of the country’s top motoring personalities like Des Buncio (Super bike Racer and 2018 Women Racing champion, Philippines), Ron Del Rosario (Veteran sports journalist and host of Aksyon Sport’s Auto Review), Angie King (Car Racer, Modifier and Owner of Car Porn Racing), Raul Roque (Managing Partner of Race-Chip, Pay App, Manila Auto salon Show, Krooberg and businessman in various trades in the Philippines), Gaby Dela Merced (Philippines Formula 3 Car driver and TV personality) along with the Managing Partners of Pinnaclemena Events Corporation – Jennefer Beduya and Diji Shujahi (the organizers of My Ride Expo Manila 2020, Dubai based company). “This is a very interesting concept that has been brought to the Philippines and gets individual modified bikers a chance to win cash prizes irrespective of whether they own a small or big bike.” -Des Buncio. “The concept behind the show is really unique as not only this is the first auto show that is offering cash prizes for the participants in the modified cars and bikes competition, but for the auto enthusiasts, it offers the opportunity to win P 7,000,000 worth of raffle prizes that include 5 cars, 5 bikes and many gadgets. They have been even giving away tablets and smart phones from 23 November 2019 onwards and creating an uproar amongst OFWs and philippinos nationwide.” -Ron Del Rosario. “I am involved with My Ride Expo with sales and media and in facilitating selling of tickets through various outlets of Race-chip across the Philippines as well as Pay App being the official registration partner for My Ride Expo Manila 2020 and are excited for this unique auto exhibition catering to car enthusiats as well as the masses.” -Raul Roque. “I am an avid car modifier and over the years, though I have judged car competitions in other parts of the world, surprisingly I have never been asked to judge a car show in the Philippines. I am excited to be part of this event and happy for the participants to win these never before seen cash prizes,” said Angie King on being announced as one of the Judges for the My Ride Expo Manila 2020. “My experience in car modifications might not be as extensive as Angie’s; I am coming more from a spectator’s side. Modifications for me are usually towards a functional standpoint due to racing and it’s nice to focus on the creative and aesthetic aspect of it this time. I grew up around my father’s car shop and I appreciate the beauty in all of it. I am excited to be part of the My Ride Expo Manila 2020 which promises a lot of firsts not just the way modified car competitions would be held, but also the prizes for the public,” said Gaby Dela Merced, who would be part of the Judging committe for the competition as well. The organizers also announced Kevin Limjoco, owner and founder of C! Magazine, as the third judge from the Philippines.
