Ako ay Filipino” a grand charity gala fashion show initiated by one of our country’s most respected and renowned premier designer Arielle Agasang is scheduled to pay tribute to the most influential personalities of the country for the year 2020. The annual event, which will commence this year, will be the venue to honor diverse and dynamic Filipinos in all fields of expertise and the various sector of the society. A special committee composed of people of different media and government sectors will conduct the screening for the chosen recipients. The press launching was held last February 26 at the Sampaguita Ballroom of the iconic Manila Hotel to usher the coming charity gala show. A mini fashion show was presented to the guests and members of the invited media to cover the event which was hosted by John Night. The show featured some of the Filipiniana collections distinctly by Agasang and executed by the country’s leading mannequins. Arielle is the top honcho of the Agasang A1 Entertainment Productions, the company that will mount the big event in June. They also produced pageant search, fashion shows, gala nights and other special events in the country. The entity aims to expand its horizon by paving the way to pay tribute to the most influential Filipinos of the country in the year 2020. Senator Nancy Binay, Pasig VCity Mayor Mico Sotto, singer Jed Madela, Mayor Isko Moreno of Manila are the only few names in the initial list of awardees. The inaugural event will be held at the Centennial Ballroom of the Manila Hotel on June 13 this year entitled; ARIELLE AGASANG: A FILIPINO FASHION GALA AND TRIBUTE TO THE MOST INFLUENTIAL PERSONALITIES OF THE YEAR 2020. The evening will start with a red carpet and heavy cocktail to be followed by a special fashion show and awarding ceremony. Top performers of the country and international artists will be provided for the evening to spice up the entertainment. Parts of the proceeds of the charity gala will be used for the construction and improvement of Our Lady of Assumption Parish in Lavazares, Northern Samar, the event’s main beneficiary this year.
