During Dindi’s official sendoff press conference on Monday, July 26, the MWPO also announced John Adajar’s appointment as its official representative to the Mr. Supranational 2021 pageant scheduled on August 22, also in Malopolska, Poland. The reigning two-time global MMA welterweight champion is one of the top contenders of the URCC (Universal Reality Combat Championship), one of the country’s most prestigious mixed martial arts (MMA) fight leagues. Nicknamed “The Outlaw,” John aims to use sports as his main platform to inspire, empower and foster brotherhood and camaraderie among fledgling athletes. Hailing from the picturesque city of San Pablo, Laguna, also known as the City of Seven Lakes, John has taken part in his family’s civic-minded initiatives, specifically a city-wide food relief program, #Hapagkainan, meant to help his underprivileged townsfolk. Of his forthcoming pageant stint, John says, “Today, I step out of the ring and prepare for an even bigger and tougher fight: the 2021 Mr. Supranational pageant.”.”As a martial artist, my hands and feet speak for my untarnished legacy. They can be lethal, but these very same hands can be instruments of peace, brotherhood, and global understanding. I come to you with my arms outstretched, ready to embrace change, ready to celebrate diversity and equality.”Miss World Philippines National Director and Miss/Mr. Supranational Philippines franchise. holder Arnold Vegafria is excited about the country’s participation in the prestigious pageant that highlights glamour, fashion, and natural beauty. He says, “We were actually more than ready to field our candidates when we finalized our partnership with the Miss/Mr. The supranational organization last year, but it was unfortunate that we had to set aside our plans because of the global pandemic. With the more optimistic global scenario these days, I’m very certain that our candidates, Dindi and John, stand a good chance of claiming the crown and putting the Philippines back on the pageant map.”
