SHANON TAMPON IS READY TO WOW IN EGYPT FOR MISS ELITE 2022
The Philippines has a new queen set to slay on an international pageant!ProMedia and Hiyas ng Pilipinas proudly introduce Shannon Tampon as our very first Philippine delegate for the prestigious Miss Elite 2022 pageant. She was officially crowned as Miss Elite Philippines 2022 during the Sashing and Crowning ceremony held at the Laurel House in Mandaluyong City. Tampon, from Caloocan City, is an entrepreneur and an advocate against animal cruelty. She is no stranger to beauty pageants as she had participated in local and national competitions. She was crowned Miss Caloocan 2019, placed runner-up in Miss Philippines Earth 2019, finalist at Miss Bikini Philippines 2019, and recently competed in Binibining Pilipinas 2020/2021 pageant. Shanon is now under the management of ProMedia PH. A collaborative effort of ProMedia and Hiyas ng Pilipinas, Tampon was the top choice for the Miss Elite Philippines 2022 title. Miss Elite Organization has authorized the appointment of the first Philippine delegate due to time constraints. Hiyas ng Pilipinas pageant will be holding their national pageant this coming March while the deadline for submission of Philippine candidate is this month. The winner of the Miss Elite Philippine title during the pageant will compete next year. ProMedia executives Mr. Paul Izon Reyes and Ms. Jeremy Joy Aquino were present during the ceremony. Reyes handed out the sash while Aquino crowned the new Miss Elite Philippines. Also joining the event is Mr. Kenley Filarca – Asia Pacific Consultant for Miss Elite and Mr. Ferdinand Galdones Abejon – Miss Elite Director of Communications. “We at the Hiyas ng Turismo Pilipinas Foundation Inc. together with ProMedia fully support her in this big milestone. Her dedication to training, exuding confidence, and varied experience in the pageant industry through the years are enough testimonials for us to say that she is crown-worthy,” said National Director Eva Patalinjug. “Shannon, we are proud to have you as our country’s representative. The second edition of the Miss Elite pageant is scheduled to take place from June 10-18, 2022 at Somabay Luxury Resorts, Red Sea, Egypt. Organized by Stefano Douaihy, the Miss Elite competition aims to be one of the main events of beauty contests around the globe in a few years’ time. About 40+ countries are expected to compete for the crown. Mexico’s Fernanda Pumar is the reigning winner.
