Yoshabel Mendones Lebico, (Yosha), 20, is a second-year college student taking a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English. She has excelled academically from her senior year of high school and into this year and managed to be a consistent academic scholar.
Yoshabel loves to read, sing, and spends most of her time volunteering in her academic organization. This 20-year-old is also running for a position in their academic organization as treasurer. Her advocacy, Inclusive Education, is inspired by her brother’s disability who has down syndrome. Yoshabel has always gotten along well with children who have disabilities because of her brother, and she is dedicated to supporting and advocating for their rights and privileges as well as promoting inclusivity.
