Bb. Pilipinas holds public send-off for Nicole Borromeo ahead of Miss International 2023
The Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. (BPCI) joined pageant fans and supporters in bidding well wishes to Binibining Pilipinas – International 2022 Nicole Borromeo through a grand public send-off event at the Quantum Skyview of the New Gateway Mall 2 on September 27.
For the first time in Binibining Pilipinas history, the tradition of sending off a Binibini queen — previously held through an exclusive media event — took place this time at the latest attraction and largest mall activity area in Araneta City.
The special event was attended by family and friends of Borromeo, members of the press, past and present Binining Pilipinas queens, and other pageant enthusiasts who all gathered at the spacious Quantum Skyview, beneath the trailblazing 700-square-meter indoor ceiling mesh LED screen of the New Gateway Mall 2. This allowed the Binibini queen to personally thank her supporters who echoed their cheers and applause.
The 24-year-old Borromeo is an Interior Design student from the University of San Carlos School of Architecture, Fine Arts and Design. She is an advocate for holistic wellbeing and art therapy and an active volunteer for relief operations in typhoon-stricken places. Just this year, she provided an art therapy session to wounded soldiers at the V. Luna Hospital for the celebration of National Heroes Day and joined Miss International 2022 Jasmine Selberg in spending time with the kids of Operation Smile at Sta. Ana Hospital.
